
The Story of Skored Sourdough
I grew up loving to bake and about 9 months ago I was on a mission to figure out the process of sourdough. Making sourdough was a lot of fun and I loved the anticipation and delayed gratification of it; I would a make a loaf and wouldn't know for 36 hours it is was a success or not. I began baking for friends and family until they hit their bread quota. That is when I decided and felt confident enough in my product to attend a weekly Farmers Market. It was a huge success and I met and made some great connections. As I headed back to my full time work, I looked for ways to maintain and continue to build Skored Sourdough and that is where we are at today; still loving all things sourdough and finding ways to streamline the process while allowing it to grow.
